On March 4, we had the pleasure of taking part in an inclusive hike at Parc Maisonneuve, alongside committed partners such as DefPhys Sans Limite, Rando Québec and Les Ballons Intensifs..
Under a beautiful early-March sun, the group’s energy made for a great afternoon outdoors, where everyone could move at their own pace and enjoy the experience together in a welcoming and inclusive environment.
For this outing, we were present with several adaptive mobility solutions helping make winter hiking more accessible, including a Snow, a Grit Freedom Chair, and a Joëlette Finisher equipped with Polar skis.
Initiatives like this highlight how collaboration between non-profit organizations, with the help of volunteer-participants, helps expand access to outdoor activities, in winter and throughout the year.
Thanks to everyone involved for their commitment and enthusiasm.
