Versa and Gamut Systems

The Versa and Gamut paddle systems are designed to reduce the effort required for paddling, helping to protect the joints and making kayaking and seated paddleboarding more accessible to individuals with disabilities, or those prone to arm fatigue or pain.

Both systems can be installed on nearly all models of watercraft thanks to the various available mounting options.

The Versa includes a mount with a double-blade paddle that can be used in a straight or angled position, enabling to paddle with one hand or with a limited range of motion.

The Gamut, on the other hand, allows the use of one’s own paddle, secured between RotoGrip rollers.

Each model provides paddle support with no effort and a smooth motion, thereby reducing strain on the shoulders, back, and arms.

Adopted by associations, rehabilitation specialists, rental spots, municipalities, and individuals alike, they allow paddlers of all ages to enjoy the pleasures and well-being of water activities.

With a simple slide of the button with the thumb, changing the paddle from angled to straight and back again is easy as pie.

The mounts are easy to install. Most (but not all) require a drill, a wrench, a marker and about 15 minutes.

The three notches on each shaft allow you to easily adjust the paddle to the ideal length.

Custom mount

All different Angle Oar mounting types are compatible with both paddle systems. They can adapt to the vast majority of kayak models and all paddleboards (in seated position).

The hinged mount, considered the flagship model, offers maximum stability for sit-in kayaks thanks to its three-point fixture and articulated arms, facilitating entry and exit.

The Apex mount is versatile, ideal for different types of kayaks and for SUPs. Various fixing methods are available to adapt to almost all situations.

The double mount is a compact model designed for sit-on-top kayaks and SUPs with limited space.

Finally, for specific configurations, Angle Oar offers custom mounts in collaboration with manufacturers like RAM Mounts and YakAttack to meet all design constraints.
